Prof.Dr. Esra KUPELI AKKOL was born in Turkey. She got her Bachelor of Science degree in Faculty of Pharmacy, Gazi University, Turkey and got her Ph.D. degree in Pharmacognosy Department from the University of Gazi. She is currently Professor in the Gazi University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacognosy. She served in many capacities in her field including service on several editorial boards and numerous review committees for journals such as Journal of Ethnopharmacology, Journal of Pharmacy Sciences, The Internet Journal of Herbal and Plant Medicine, International Journal of Genuine Traditional Medicine, Advances in Pharmacological Sciences, Evidence Based Complementary Alternative Medicine and The Open Pain Journal. She has conducted 38 projects and 11 thesis in Gazi University. She has 149 published articles in SCI International Journals, 13 articles in National Journals and 9 chapters in International books.

Dr. Jike Lu is an Orthopaedic surgeon, Chairperson, Professor, Dept of Orthopaedics at Wenzhou Med University, BJU, Beijing China. He completed his doctorate at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Before his doctoral studies in Australia, Dr. Lu was a qualified orthopedic spine surgeon and Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Xinjiang Medical University. Dr. Lu accumulated ten years of extensive experience in orthopedic trauma, tumors, joint replacement, and spinal surgeries. He has served in numerous hospital institutions in Melbourne and Sydney. Dr. Lu’s primary clinical interest is orthopedic surgery for adults and children. In addition, Dr. Lu has also served as a visiting professor of orthopedic surgery at Wenzhou Medical University. Dr. Lu has over 30 years of clinical experience in the treatment and diagnosis of spinal degenerative disorders, cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, stenosis and spondylolisthesis, and spinal trauma and tumors. Dr. Lu specializes in orthopedic trauma, joint arthroplasty, and total knee joint and hip replacement. Dr. Jike Lu has published over 50 Research articles in Chinese in scientific and medical journals. Dr. Lu currently holds unconditional national medical board registration and is certified by the Australia Medical Council.

Dr. Karena Wu is Owner and Clinical Director of ActiveCare Physical Therapy® in NYC and Mumbai. She is a native of Los Angeles, California and has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California at Riverside. She has been practicing physical therapy for over 19 years in New York City. She graduated with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the Program In Physical Therapy at Columbia University and received her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. She has advanced training in manual therapies, specifically in the Maitland Australian Approach and Myofascial Release. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Karena is also a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Kinesiology Tape Practitioner and Pilates Instructor. She holds LSVT BIG, FMS and SFMA Level 1 certifications as well.

Margo K. Apostolos, PhD. is the Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Cedars-Sinai/ USC Glorya Kaufman Dance Medicine Center and Associate Professor of Dance at the University of Southern California. Apostolos earned a PhD in Physical Education with a Philosophy minor a Stanford University, MA in Dance from Northwestern University, and BS in Physical Education with a Dance minor from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Her practiced based work in training dancers and athletes spans over forty years including numerous Olympians and professional athletes. In addition, Apostolos pioneered work in the development of Robot Choreography and was awarded a prestigious NASA/JPL Faculty Fellowship for work in space telerobotics. She works with both humans and robots.

Dr Borsky is practicing surgery for 30 years. Graduated from the University of Zurich he spent most of his residency in institutions around the city of Zurich, including the Zurich University Hospital. At last head of surgical department in a country hospital in the larger Zurich area he founded together with another colleague in the year 2000 the “etzelclinic”, a surgical and orthopaedic unit. In the meantime the “etzelclinic” accommodates 8 surgeons, each team dealing only with one joint. Dr Borsky was from the beginning pushing the “orthobiology” treatments additionally to the surgical treatments of knee diseases, especially in knee osteoarthritis, being amongst the first in Switzerland offering intraarticular PRP preparations.

He has over 10 years’ experience in Orthopedics and has worked in various intuitions such as, as Professor and Chief Surgeon of Arthroplasty in the Department of Orthopedics at the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Pondicherry, India as well as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Apollo Hospital, Chennai, India and has been the author and reviewer of more than 20 publications in both international and national journals of repute. Dr. Ravichandran Subbaraj keen areas of interest are Complex, Primary as well as Revision Knee and Hip Replacements, Trauma Management, Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine as well as management of Osteoporosis and Vitamin D deficiency and Stem Cell Therapy for Cartilage Regeneration. Dr. Ravichandran Subbaraj is a member of Indian Orthopedic Association and held various administrative posts in National Orthopedic Associations. Seunghee Cha, DDS, PhD, has her expertise in the pathogenesis of Sjögren’s syndrome (SjS), focusing on the understanding of the altered salivary microenvironment and glandular regeneration. As a clinician/scientist, her long-term research goal has been to develop interventional strategies for patients suffering from SjS. This motivation allowed her to generate a SjS-prone mouse model, characterize altered SjS target tissue homeostasis, create a conjugate that protects salivary acinar cells in the SjS glandular microenvironment, profile SjS-associated miRNAs, and identify their putative target molecules. Additionally, Dr. Cha has identified via proteomics transcription factors that contribute to transdifferentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into salivary progenitor cells. Her lab is in the process of characterizing those transcription factors to identify the master regulators for the generation of saliva secreting cells. Her study summarized above was conducted to identify ways to bypass the need for a lip biopsy and improve the currently dubious diagnostic criteria for SjS.

Dr. Stephen Cavallino – Board Certified in Emergency Medicine in Italy - I have been involved in regenerative medicine for more than 20 years. I am now the Director of the European School of Prolotherapy in italy. I participate in many different voluntary Prolotherapy Missions worldwide. My time is focused on helping people that have MSK problems and their pain by understand the cause of pain and treating the structure in orthopedic medicine to improve their quality of life.

Dr. Takatomo MINE was born in Fukuoka, Japan. He got his bachelor degree from Yamaguchi University School of Medicine. He got his Ph.D. (Dr. of Medical Science) degree at Yamaguchi University School of Medicine. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Yamaguchi University. He is the Director of Orthopedic Surgery & Rheumatology at Kanmon Medical Center, Yamaguchi and also a member of various associations: Japanese Orthopedic Association(1985), The Central Japan Association of Orthopedic Surgery & Traumatology(1985), International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine(2014), Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine(2015), Japanese Society for Cartilage Metabolism(2017) and many other. He has published around 35 articles in various International Journals in the field of Orthopedics.

Dr. Bielecki is a diagnostic radiologist with over 20 years academic experience in bone and joint radiology. He has a strong interest in bone and joint diseases, particularly inflammatory and non-inflammatory diseases of the joints and spine. He is an experienced educator of medical students, residents, registrars and fellows, using one-on-one and lecture techniques. He currently is developing a 45-lecture series of talks covering basic musculoskeletal imaging as part of the Kings College Hospital’s Radiology Registrar’s Training Program. Dr. Bielecki was a research fellow at the University of California, San Diego, Veterans Administration Medical Center working under the tutelage of Donald Resnick, MD. As a research fellow, he was involved in the publication of 6 peer-reviewed research papers. In total, he has published over 20 papers in radiology. He spent a total of 18 months working in this research environment. To date his work has been cited 71 times, and recently has supervised over 10 educational posters that have been presented at the European Congress of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, The European Society of Skeletal Radiology, and the International Skeletal Society meetings. Along with training over 120 radiology residents, he developed radiology training for rheumatology fellows. Each fellow spent one month working directly with Dr Bielecki to familiarize themselves with the radiologic signs of rheumatologic diseases. Over his time at OUHSC, Dr. Bielecki trained an additional 40 rheumatologic fellows. Dr Bielecki was appointed Honorary Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Imaging Sciences at King’s College, London, UK and currently works in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London, United Kingdom.
